Since the environment gets confused with the change in light, human bodies might also feel a break in their rhythm leading to digestive issues. Also, lack of sunlight during the eclipse period also strengthens the bio-magnetic fields of the humans, which can cause chemical reactions in the body. Hence, elders advice that one bathes and eats after the eclipse is over. But, let’s clarify - there is no substantial evidence for stomach issues because of eating during an eclipse.

Good Practices for Pregnant Women during/after a Solar Eclipse

Eclipse is a very good time for mantra chanting and meditation.

  • Meditate: Sit in a cool room, play soothing music and centre your thoughts. You can try Ram meditation or full moon meditation.
  • Chanting / Japas (repetitive chanting of mantras): Santana Gopala Mantra, Mahamrityunjay Mantra and Shiva Panchakshari Mantra dedicated to Lord Shiva are chanted during the Surya Grahan period. But, you can choose any lines from the scripture of your choice and recite it.
  • Keep a tulsi leaf in your mouth during the eclipse period. You don’t need to chew on it, just keeping it in your mouth will work wonders. The secret? Tulsi leaves have anti-radiation properties. A single tulsi leaf has the power to minimise or negate any negative effect of the eclipse. We bet you didn’t know this.
  • Cleanse your body with light pranayamas - Pranyamas like Nadi Shodhan Pranyama, Brahmari and deep breathing can bring deep calm to help you go deeper in the meditative space.
  •  Practise Silence - Yes, it is a great way to centre your being during an eclipse. Just sit in one place, put calming music and go through the day mentally, as a witness. Let the day’s events pass like a slide-show in your mind. Don’t judge.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
